We are a family owned business and we manufacture and install our own memorials, therefore we provide you with ongoing service in terms of maintenance and repairs.

We offer our services to the people of the Goldfields as well as all Country areas. We have put monuments in areas as far South as Esperance and as far North as Meekatharra. We have also installed monuments to the West through all the small towns between Kalgoorlie and Perth.

Kalgoorlie Monumental Works is a small family business owned by Ken and Sherril Ball.
​
Ken came into the business in 1969 when he was 17 years old. He worked for his Stepfather Buff, learning all facets of the trade while putting monuments in country cemeteries all over the state. The business was relocated to its present site by Buff (Charles Eric) Trounson in 1965. Ken bought the business when Buff retired in 1981. He continues to operate it together with his wife Sherril still servicing the Goldfields community.
Our objective is to provide a quality service and to carry it out with dignity, elegance & pride. We aim to be understanding and sensitive to the bereaved. We intend to be guided by the needs of our clients, providing the best quality service at a competitive price.

We are a family owned business and intend to stay that way. We wish to continue with the manufacture of our own products whilst keeping up with market trends including importing highest quality materials. We provide an ongoing service of maintenance and repair.

We maintain a safe & efficient work environment and are committed to the trade by continuing to train apprentices.
Services
We manufacture granite and marble monuments, bench and counter tops using the finest quality stone sourced from all over the world.

We also manufacture monuments using a one-piece superior kerb in concrete, cast stone and terrazzo.
​
We supply accessories such as crosses, crucifixes, statues, vases, ceramic floral arrangements and various other products associated with memorials.
​
We supply and fit bronze plaques as cemetery memorials, and commemorative plaques in schools, clubs and businesses.
​
We also offer a sandblasting services to etch tributes and designs into the memorials, monuments, glass, mirrors and other materials.
OUR PRODUCTS
Kalgoorlie Monuments Works manufactures several monuments, granite bench tops and garden seats using the finest quality granite, marble, concrete, cast stone, terrazzo and materials sourced form all over the world.
